Mary Swaine Archive

Mary's work continues here.

If you've come looking for Mary, you're in the right place. Her website is gone, but her teaching isn't. This page keeps it within reach.

Mary Swaine was a teacher and spiritual practitioner, with students as far away as Wuhan and Giza. Her work moved through meditation, writing and travel to sacred places, and each part fed the others. She followed wherever the questions led, and trusted her students to find their own way.

Mary Swaine, B.A., N.D.

I met Mary in 2004, when a friend sent me to her at a very difficult time in my life. Within a year, everything had shifted, and I needed to understand her way of working, which was like no one else's. I studied with her every week for fifteen years, until her sudden passing in 2020.

After that, I held meditation sessions with her material every two weeks for five years, so her teaching wouldn't go quiet. This page is the next step: a home for her work that stays open, whether or not anyone can make it to a session.

Her training and her books

Mary practised for many years from her office at the Queen Elizabeth Health Centre in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montréal.

Over her lifetime she trained in naturopathy, psychotherapy, colour therapy, sound therapy, hypnotherapy, massage therapy, reflexology and intuitive radionics.

Her books

  • Healing the Planet with Group Energy
  • Intuitive Art Therapy
  • Soul-Level Therapy and Living Life as a Soul
  • The Wisdom of the Body
  • Healing Emotional Trauma
  • Healing Relationships
  • A textbook on magnetism
  • A textbook on reflexology

She also wrote numerous articles on health care and eleven children's books.

One book was never published: A Workbook for Therapists and Care-Givers. She referred to it in every book she did publish, and her students were waiting for it.

I'm gathering her teachings, stories from her travels, and memories from the people she taught. If you studied with Mary and have a memory, a photo or a note to share, I'd love to hear from you.

Part of what Mary taught lives on in my own practice: Sens & Souffle.

This archive is non-commercial and kept in good faith to honour Mary's memory. If you are a member of her family or hold rights to her work, please get in touch.
